My hardcover of Anna Karenina came last night. It says 700 pages, but the type is so painfully small, I’m going to have to read sans glasses with the book 1″ from my nose. 1984, Avenel Books, Crown Publishing, reprint of original American translation from 1898, introduction by Moreland Perkins, Professor of Philosophy at University of Maryland. I have my work cut out for me!

    • Uggh! I bought a big magnifying glass to read some of my tiny print books. The Interlinear Bible looks to have been printed for ants to read. This reminds me of my “best of Tolstoy” I got from Barnes and Noble years ago. Had the top three novels: AK, W&P, and Cossacks. It weighs as much as a bowling ball and has tiny print.
